Casio DT-X30 Ruggedised PDA

Secure Retail will be demonstrating the DT-X30, which now has an IP67 rating, at this year’s Parkex show that is being held at Earls Court on 02 and 03 of March 2010.

The DT-X30, which has been widely adopted in the mobile parking enforcement sector, has now achieved IP67 rating. This means total protection against dust ingress and water immersion. Alongside this, the drop test specification has been increased to 1.8 metres making the DT-X30 the most rugged hand held terminal available in today’s market.

The DT-X30 is the part of Casio’s latest generation of rugged handheld terminals designed specifically for use within the car parking and law enforcement sector. The product features include:

• A wide range of communications options which include EDGE, GPRS, GSM WLAN (IEEE802.11b/g) and Bluetooth
• Built in 2.0 megapixel digital camera with autofocus
• Built in GPS provides positioning information accurate to a matter of metres
• 3.5 inch QVGA colour LCD screen with touch panel
• Available with either Microsoft CE or mobile operating systems
• Integrated laser scanner or CMOS imager option
• Ergonomic design for ease of use and comfortable operation
